Evidence
Many findings rest on cumulative evidence. A packet gathers the items and says, for each one, what it actually establishes. No single outside article has to state a whole synthesis for the synthesis to be documented carefully.
The documented ensemble-architecture bridge
Harmon does not say he took the rule from Simms. What is documented is that the comparison was put to him and that he described the corresponding Community rule as intentional architecture. Later scene-by-scene correspondences still need their own evidence; this packet gives them a production context, not a verdict.
Two instructions that preserve the target's sense of choice
Both sides open with the same three words, which is why the row is rated on dialogue as well as mechanism. Neither side is speaker-attested in the transcript files, and no production evidence connects the two scenes. This is a mechanism candidate, not a documented borrowing.
The Warburton surname as an actor-history layer
This is a retrospective actor-history layer, and the index labels intention unverified. A surname match is not evidence that a writer intended the reference. The open follow-up is to search commentary, Matt Roller interviews and production notes, and to compare other Community one-off surnames against NewsRadio actors before promoting this.
Romance as a bargaining chip: the unmatched beat
Fifteen of the sixteen beats have a Community counterpart. This one does not, and the research says so explicitly. It is kept visible because a mirror that hides its gaps is not inspectable.
Hairpin: one word kept twice where the idiom would drop it
The source document draws a hard line here, and the site keeps it. The evidence supports the presence and function of a signal. It does not establish anything about Swift's private life, and the document treats identity as a separate evidentiary question. The open part of the reading is reach: which other motifs join the cluster, and which audiences recognised it at the time.
Woodvale: the documented false positive
Kept on the site rather than deleted. A method that can only produce hits is not a method. Woodvale is the control case that makes the hairpin reading testable, and it is why the site rates a decoded claim on recurrence, historical specificity and independent source chains rather than on how satisfying it feels.
Five holes in the fence
No direct Swift statement naming the Star Trek episode has been recovered. What is established is that the association was contemporaneous rather than retrofitted. The combined white-picket-fence and four-lights reading is the project's extension of that, and is labelled as ours.
What each kind of evidence can carry
| Kind | What it proves |
|---|---|
| Primary text | That the wording, action, or staging exists in the work. It does not establish provenance. |
| Creator statement | What the creator said about method or intent on the record. A statement about method does not confirm one particular reading. |
| Production record | Credits, personnel, studio, or scheduling. Establishes access or overlap, never conscious borrowing. |
| Casting record | Who appeared, and in what prior role. Persona intent needs its own evidence. |
| Contemporaneous reception | That an audience recognised something at the time. It does not prove authorial intent. |
| Commentary track | What the participants said while reviewing their own work. |
| Archival material | That a document or post existed on a date. |
| Scholarship or reference work | An established external fact, such as a term's documented history. |
| Project synthesis | Nothing on its own. It is the argument that the other items form a pattern, and it is labelled as ours. |
