What is moving this month
The maker
Lynn, one chair,
eleven years.
I knitted jumpers for ten years, then spent two years taking in repairs on other people's knitted bags. A bag that has gone baggy tells you exactly where the pattern was lazy.
Everything here is swatched, knitted, blocked, and lined by me in a room above a machine shop. A cable panel takes about eleven hours and a colourwork chart takes longer, so the studio finishes two or three bags in a week and no more than that.
The anime work started as commissions. People wanted a fox mask actually knitted into the fabric rather than printed on a canvas tote, so I charted my own motifs and put them in the shop.

Stitch & Story
The anime-inspired bags
A stranded fox mask, an intarsia star sigil, seven seamed mecha panels, and three duplicate-stitch cat faces. Every chart is drawn here, so nothing copies a licensed character.
